Alterations & Amendments
Alterations/Amendments can be made to your order no later than two weeks prior to collection/ delivery. If the alteration aﬀects the overall cost then your balance will be adjusted accordingly.
Please be aware that whilst your chosen cake may not be made with nuts or a nut product, it will be prepared in a kitchen where nut products may be used for other cakes and ﬁllings. Raw materials used may not be free from dairy, wheat or gluten. Allergy information is provided with all cake orders.
Cancellations & Amendments
If you have any queries or need to make any changes to an order please contact us immediately. We will assess your request for an amendment and let you know it effects the price and any agreed timetable.
Alterations requested less than 21 days before completion will automatically be subject to a surcharge.
We cannot refund the cost of any cake orders cancelled with less than 6 weeks notice. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your order for any reason, then we will give you as much notice as possible, and discuss the matter with you and try to agree a suitable alternative. If you are not willing to accept our suggested alternative, we will refund the full price to you.
Collection & Delivery
Customers may choose to collect their cake from the Jasmine & Rose Cake Studio in Newtonmore. Jasmine & Rose Cake Company will provide the customer with full transport, assembly and storage instructions.
Cakes collected from the Jasmine & Rose Cake Studio must be checked by the customer, who must sign to say that the cake has been collected in perfect condition. Once collected, the full responsibility for the safety of the order is with the client and Jasmine & Rose Cake Company is not liable for any damages thereafter.
Please note: Wedding cakes can be very heavy and large and the components may come in several boxes. They may not be suitable for transporting via public transport. We would recommend using an air conditioned vehicle to ensure that temperatures remain below 23 Degrees Celsius.
Delivery is available within the following postcodes PH20, PH21, PH22 and a flat fee of £20.00 will be charged. Delivery is dependent upon availability and advance booking is highly recommended. For information on charges please call 01540 673 817.
Jasmine & Rose Cake Company requires a signed delivery note by the person in charge to say that the cake has arrived and that it arrived in perfect condition.

We take the upmost care when delivering Cakes . In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, it is the customer’s responsibility to report the damage to us within 48 hours and send photographic evidence of the damage within 7 working days if you wish to claim a refund or replacement. We accept no liability for cakes that are damaged after they have been delivered to the agreed location.
For cakes delivered to venues, the Jasmine & Rose Cake Company requires a signed delivery note by the person in charge to say that the cake has arrived and that it arrived in perfect condition. Here at the Jasmine & Rose Cake Company will not accept liability for any damage therefore after. All Jasmine & Rose wedding cakes are fragile and require care and attention when handling, storing and displaying. Please pay careful attention to our transportation and storage instructions that will be provided with the cake.
Our charges include a bespoke design service. There is no extra charge for creating a new design from your ideas. Our consultations are for a maximum of 2 people attending.
We kindly request three months notice for all wedding cakes and one month for birthdays and other celebrations; however we can occasionally work to shorter notice.
Payment & Deposit Terms
The final balance must be paid 6 weeks prior to completion although payment can be made earlier if you wish. Where the order is placed within 6 weeks of completion, then payment will be due in full on placing the order. Failure to complete payment by 6 weeks prior to order completion may result in your cake order being cancelled. Should your cheque be dishonoured and returned unpaid by the bank, then we shall be entitled to charge a fee of £25.00 per dishonoured cheque.
If you hire a cake stand, we charge a deposit of £30.00, which will be refunded on return of the undamaged cake stand, or withheld to cover any damage to the cake stand. We will add the cake stand hire charge to your invoice, but if the cake stand is returned later than agreed we will charge the additional daily rate, by deducting it from your deposit.
